Soundproof studio with three isolation
rooms
The dimensions of the two main rooms are 10’ x 12’,
and 9’ x 7’. Both rooms are 9’ high. The
rooms are separated by a permanent wall which has removable
panels and a wide door. We can combine the rooms into one by
removing panels in the wall and opening the door.
An additional vocal booth is located beyond the two rooms,
with visual contact to both rooms and the control room. The
vocal booth is 4’ by 8’ and is also 9’ high.
All three rooms have visual contact with each other and with
the control room. Also, all three rooms have been “tuned” with
acoustic foam to provide a warm sound without sounding like
you are in a closet or a box. All walls are nonparallel, which
means no ringing or boosted frequencies.
A four-foot wide window to the control room provides ample
visual contact between performers and the engineer.
An additional large room is available for choruses or large
instrumental groups. That room is 30 feet long and 9 feet wide,
with sloping rough wood paneled ceiling and carpeted floor.
We can record up to 25 singers in that room comfortably.
Our studio offers free bottled water for you to drink while
you’re here, a nice place to stretch out, rest room facilities
and easy access for loading equipment.
